Support for Deft Academy Students Affected by the Rising Cost of Living

We understand that the increasing cost of living in the UK is a concern for many of our students. In response, Deft Academy has been diligently collaborating with our student community to provide additional financial assistance where needed.

We are pleased to announce the following additional support measures:

Introducing the Cost of Living Hub: To streamline access to student counseling and practical assistance within Deft Academy, we have launched a new Cost of Living Hub. Here, students can find resources on borrowing textbooks, computers, and information on who to contact for support with housing and financial concerns.

We recognize that some students may be experiencing anxiety during this time. Please remember that our support services are here for you. Do not hesitate to reach out if you need assistance:

• Student Support and Wellbeing Specialists are available to help students facing financial or other challenges.
• Student Advisors can provide support with academic difficulties, mental health concerns, and general welfare.
• For inquiries related to financial management or money matters, you can contact one of our Wellness & Welfare Advisors.

Additionally, our Deft Academy Student Assistance Line (020 3488 2231) is available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. This confidential service is free and available to UK students, offering support and assistance for your overall wellbeing.
