Additionally, Deft Academy is actively pursuing ISO 14001 certification, the globally recognized standard for environmental management, signaling our commitment to excellence on a worldwide scale.

To enhance energy efficiency and increase the utilization of renewable and sustainable energy sources over fossil fuels, we are currently reassessing metering systems and procurement contracts for utility delivery, including electricity, gas, and water services.

Deft Academy will proactively seek out suppliers with robust low-carbon policies to establish mutually beneficial business partnerships, thereby reinforcing our commitment to sustainability.

Encouraging the use of cycling as a mode of transportation, Deft Academy provides parking and shelters for cyclists and disseminates information on traveling to the premises via cycling.

Deft Academy will promote a ‘Walk to School’ program for learners, partners, and staff who reside within short distances of the premises, scheduled every Friday. Participants will be equipped with a dedicated app on their smartphones to track metrics such as time, distance, and calories expended during the activity, with a recommended duration of 5-10 minutes.

Deft Academy is developing and implementing a comprehensive travel plan aimed at fostering environmentally friendly commuting and business travel practices. We are actively working towards formal participation in the Mayor’s initiative for achieving Net Zero by 2030.
